The directors of the Company considered the Group has significant influence over these companies through its representatives on the
board of directors of each of these companies

The Group through its non-wholly owned subsidiaries holds more than 50% interests in these associated companies. These associated
companies are considered as subsidiary undertakings under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622). However, under the
respective contractual arrangements, the Group has no control over the relevant activities including investment decisions of these
companies but has significant influence through its representative on each of these companies’ investment committees.
