Spice Up Series
Since 2009, “Tsim Sha Tsui K11“ has organised the Spice Up Series in cooperation with the School of Biological Sciences of
The University of Hong Kong to sponsor the training of student eco-leaders. Since then, over 60 student eco-leaders have
been trained under this programme at biodiversity hotpots such as Africa and Sri Lanka. In April 2016, 15 students embarked
on a journey to India. After returning to Hong Kong, they utilised social media platforms and developed a website to
showcase their experience in ecological conservation and indigenous cultures in India. In previous years, exhibitions of
photos taken by the students in the hosting countries were also held at “Tsim Sha Tsui K11“ and have drawn more than 6
million visitors.
